Our Support Advisors help Magna customers with a range of life tasks working towards maintaining their tenancy and thriving in their homes. The aim of this service is to provide personalised support to you as an individual to assist you in taking control of your wellbeing, thrive living independently and assist you in gaining the skills needed to enable this.
The assistance you receive will be tailored to empower you to gain the skills you need to take control of your home and enjoy your tenancy with Magna.
Once the application has been made, a support advisor will carry out an assessment to agree with you the support that can be provided. The service is designed to be short-term support that is tailored to your needs at that time.
This could include assisting you with:
- Completing a housing application
- Support with home swapper and mutual exchanges processes.
- Work with you to source the best solution with utility bills and seek the best deals available.
- Support with benefit claims
- Signpost for debt advice, dealing with creditors and payment plans.
- Assist with form filling, reading, and explaining letters.
- Working towards a property clearance goal to allow essential works or safety checks to be completed at your property.
- Work through challenges accessing essential services, such as bank accounts, registering with health care services.
We will deliver a service that is transparent, honest, impartial, and free from discrimination.
Once your application has been made, we will contact you within 10 working days. At times of high demand, we may add your application to our waiting list.
