Apprenticeships are a great way for people to gain qualifications for their chosen career while gaining valuable work experience and we offer lots of different apprenticeship opportunities at Magna.
Jude Ellery, Learning Experience Designer, and Steve Blackborough, Trade Team Manager, both attended Yeovil Futures Fest recently to have a chat with the students and find out what they’re looking for.
Jude said: “It was an enjoyable morning where we met enthusiastic young people who would be ideal apprentices at Magna. As a company that employs 450 people, we have a wide range of roles, from trade operatives you might see driving around Dorset and Somerset, to office or home-based jobs in finance, IT, and business strategy. It was great to hear about students’ hopes and ambitions and I love that Magna can help to realise these.”
We currently have apprentices of all ages working in a variety of roles at Magna, with committed mentors who support their training to help them achieve nationally recognised qualifications. We work with fantastic learning providers who are dedicated to delivering the best experience for our apprentices.
Jude continued: “Social housing is a rewarding and varied sector to work in. We are committed to investing in our colleagues from the minute they walk through the door and are strong advocates of lifelong learning. We’ve got loads of success stories from apprentices who have gone from strength to strength and are now a real credit to the company. I look forward to welcoming more!”
We strive to be the place where talented and ambitious people enjoy rewarding and fulfilling careers in an inspirational environment. Learn more about our apprenticeship opportunities here.
