We're pleased to report that Magna's top ratings from the Regulator of Social Housing have been renewed, reflecting our robust governance and strong financial position.
Our most recent regulatory check took place in January and we're really happy to have received the highest possible grades (G1 and V1) for both our governance and our viability.
Our V1 judgement indicates the regulator's belief in our financial capacity to deal with a wide range of challenges now and in the future, and the G1 rating reflects their view that we are well managed and effectively governed
The checks look at the quality of homes and services we provide (for current and future customers), and review our data and risk management, the value for money we offer, our business planning, plus much more.
Selina White, our Chief Executive says: "We are thrilled to receive confirmation of our top gradings for viability and governance from the Regulator of Social Housing. This recognition underscores our robust business and financial management. With this stability, we are well-positioned to continue the brilliant work we do as a team every day, providing great homes and services to our customers and communities. It also strengthens our ability to navigate the challenges ahead, both as an organisation and within the sector.
"A huge thank you to everyone at Magna for all the hard work and dedication that makes these top ratings possible. We know there are challenges ahead, but it's your commitment that drives us forward towards better futures for our customers."
Regulatory judgements are carried out and published for all organisations providing 1,000 or more social housing homes.
