The winners of our major works satisfaction survey prize draw to win a dishwasher, fridge freezer or microwave recently took delivery of their new home appliances.

We caught up with one of the lucky winners, Christopher Hargrave, who took delivery of his new appliance last week, and went along for a chat to see how he was feeling after winning.
He said:
“I didn’t have a dishwasher, so this is very welcome. I couldn’t really believe it when I got the phone call. I don’t normally win things, so this was a big surprise. A good one mind. I’ve not long had some work done to my kitchen, so this will finish it off nicely.”
Christopher was one of many of our customers who’ve had work carried out in their home over the last six months by us, and we sent a survey to each of them asking for their feedback on how their experience was.
In return, each of them was entered into a prize draw to win a dishwasher, fridge freezer or microwave, which Howdens have kindly agreed to continue funding for us every six months when we send out our next round of surveys.
Christopher finished by saying:
“I used to work in grounds maintenance for Dorset Council, but my life changed in a heartbeat when I became ill. I needed some changes made at home, and Magna put some adaptations in the kitchen so I can get to the oven and other appliances more easily, plus they put in a stairlift and a wet room. It makes such a difference. The changes meant I could be independent again and get my confidence back.
“I wasn’t expecting this much help. Magna have done more than I was expecting, and the teams have gone above and beyond, chatting to me, doing little extra bits like sharing a coffee and some banter, and they even hoovered the hallway!
“It’s been a long recovery, and I’ve worked hard to get back on my feet. But I always think you’ve got to keep looking and moving forward.”
