This week is National Apprenticeship Week, and we’d like to introduce you to Sarah who is a Team Leader for our Sheltered Housing Team and also completing an apprenticeship.
Here’s what she had to say about her apprenticeship experience.
“I joined Magna as a Team Leader for the Sheltered Housing Team last year, and I am studying the Level 5 Operational Manager qualification at Yeovil College.
Part of my working week is dedicated to the apprenticeship, and the Sheltered Housing Team are incredibly supportive and encouraging of my learning and training.
I’ve found the process of being an apprentice really exciting and being able to work full time in a role I love, whilst continuing further education and study to improve my knowledge base and experience, is invaluable.
I would encourage anyone, of any age and ability, if you’re thinking of doing an apprenticeship to go for it, you won’t regret it.”
