We held some of our busiest Santa’s Grotto events ever over the last two weeks, with 45 families coming along in total to take part in the festive fun!
Every year we invite our customers to bring along their children to visit Santa in his grotto to receive an early Christmas present, as well as an extra present to take home and put under the tree for the big day.
Neil Bliss, Customer and Community Involvement Officer at Magna, works hard each year to source a range of great presents, from the latest games to remote control cars, which are then matched by age range to make sure every child has an amazing present to open.
Neil has also worked closely with many of our suppliers to raise funding for this year’s events, which were entirely funded by our generous suppliers:
- Adam Billings Building Services Ltd
- Buckland Newton Hire Ltd
- Countrywide Grounds Maintenance
- CJ Lynch & Sons
- Ecosafe
- Fleetservice GB
- G & A Commercials
- GW Electrical Distributors
- Harmony Fire
- Kevin Heaphy Building and Surveying Services Ltd
- Loose Moose Catering
- Otter Plumbing & Heating Contractors
- Ramps For Access
- Riskhub
- See Media PR
- Shakers Catering Supplies
- The Warmer Group Ltd
We received lots of heart-warming feedback from many of the families who came along too:
“I just wanted to thank everyone at the event on Saturday. I think I enjoyed it more than the kids! It was well organised and enjoyable.”
“I just wanted to say thank you so much for Saturday. My boys really enjoyed it and haven’t stopped playing their games.”
We’re always excited to spread some festive cheer in our communities just before Christmas and would like to say a big thank you to all our colleagues who gave up their time to put on a great event, to our suppliers for their generous donations, and to all our customers who came along.
